A perfect recipe for during this MO when it is not easy to get out to the supermarket. Also because it is super easy it is also perfect for young children to do along with you.

Easy Pizza

Make this healthier version of a store bought pizza and add the toppings you want. You can even swap out the tins for fresh herbs and vegetables

  • Baking Tray
  • Pizza Wheel
  • Chopping Board
  • Chef Knife
  • Non slip mat
  • Oven

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pizza Base
  • tbsp Tomato puree
  • 1 tsp Dried basil
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 25 g Frozen sweetcorn
  • 25 g Tinned sliced mushroom
  • 30 g Tinned Pineapple
  • 8 slices Chicken pepperoni
  • 60 g Mozzarella cheese
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder optional
  • ½ tsp Dried chilli flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180°c (this will be done for you in class)
  • Gather your toppings from your cupboard and open the tins/packets.
  • Spread your tomato puree on your base.
  • Sprinkle on the dried herbs, add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cheese all over the top of the pizza.
  • Place the pepperoni, mushrooms and sweetcorn ontop of your pizza.
  • slice your tinned pineapple pieces in half and add them to yo pizza.
  • Bake your pizza for 15 mins.
  • Slice into 8 pieces, eat and enjoy.
